Kumarswamy elected JD(S) state unit President
Bangalore, Oct 31 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumarswamy was today unanimously elected as President of the Karnataka unit of Janata Dal (Secular).
Mr Kumarswamy was elected to the post which fell vacant following the death of Mr Merajuddin Patel a few weeks ago.
The party held a meeting of senior JD(S) leaders to elect the new President.
