Nepal Finance Minister assures of guarantee to investment

Kathmandu, Oct 27 : Nepal Finance Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has assured the private sector of guarantee to their investment.

Addressing a programme organised by Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) here on Sunday, Dr. Bhattarai said,"If you are still worried about your investment, then ask for how many years you want the guarantee against nationalisation. We are ready to give such guarantee."

He announced that the government has no intention of nationalising anybody's property.

He said if any industrialist is willing to operate the Hetauda Textile Factory and Agriculture Materials Factory then the government would hand them over to him/her, Nepalnews reported.
