Ch'garh: Raman condemns landmine blast
Raipur, Sep 29: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh today expressed deep grief over the demise of a CRPF officer and one constable during a landmine explosion carried out by naxalites near Mardum in Bastar district.
In a statement issued here, Dr Singh strongly condemned the incident and said arrangements were being made to ferry five injured jawans to the state capital in government helicopter.
CRPF officials were carrying out regular patrolling between Barsur and Mardum when the incident occurred. The spot is at a distance from Chitrakote waterfall where the President had visited for a programme today.
