Youth in custody for raising slogans
Hyderabad, Sep 26 (UNI) A 38-year-old man was taken into custody by the police for raising slogans and displaying a poster against terrorism and suicide attacks by terrorists after the conclusion of Jummat-ul-Vida (last Friday of Ramzan month) prayers at Mecca Masjid, near Charminar, here today.
According to a release, after conclusion of the prayers, Md Raufuddin raised slogans and displayed a poster against terrorism and suicide attacks by terrorists and asking the US to recall its forces from Iraq and Afghanistan.
On enquiry, he revealed that he was working as RPF constable at Training Centre in the city. His ID card confirmed his identity.
The RPF authorities told the police that he was facing some domestic problems and his family members and relatives were summoned and enquries were in progress, the release added.
