Criminal absconding for 21 yrs, arrested

Indore, Aug 1 (UNI) A history sheeter absconding for the last 21 years and wanted in several cases was arrested at this city's Banganga area last night, police said today.

Ghanshyam (42) was wanted in several criminal cases, includinng theft, house breaking and Arms Act, and a permanent warrant had also been issued against him.

Constable Majboot Singh, posted in Banganaga police station, spotted the criminal in Uttar Pradesh's Auriya town recently.

On suspicion, the constable interrogated Ghanshyam, who gave evasive replies and fled. Later, Ghanshaym moved to Indore.
