PM, Sonia to visit blasts-hit Ahmedabad on July 28

Ahmedabad, Jul 28: Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi will arrive here on Monday, July 28 to have an on-the-spot-assessment of the situation after the city was rocked by serial blasts on Saturday, July 26.

The duo, who will also be accompanied by Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil, will meet injured admitted in different hospitals. The injured are undergoing treatment in Civil Hospital, LG Hospital and Vadilal Sarabhai Hospitals. At least 45 people were killed and over 100 others were injured in serial blasts when as many as 16 coordinated serial blasts ripped through the metropolis a day after multiple explosions rocked Bangalore.
