Woman commits suicide after killing daughters

Bangalore, July 23 (UNI) A 35-year-old housewife committed suicide by jumping into a pond after pushing her two daughters into it at Chokkanahalli near Jakkur, on the outskirts of the city, last night.

Police said Jayashree, who had undergone a cesarian during delivery, was suffering from stomach ache, and last night when it was unbearable she took her daughters, Vijayalakshmi (eight) and Padmavathi (six), and drowned them before jumping into the pond.
