More than 100 bandh agitators arrested in MP

Jabalpur, July 3 (UNI) More than 100 workers of Hindu outfits, who were enforcing bandh, were arrested here today as a precautionary measure, official sources today.

Additional Superintendent of Police Manohar Singh Verma said that Abhinav Bharat Sangthan workers took out a procession and attempted to enter the sensitive areas of the cantonment town. They were arrested when they ignored the police's warning not to proceed.

Some agitators were also driven out from local civic centre area when they vandalised a hotel.
