CBI seeks closure of Beypore bomb blast case

Kochi, Jul 2 (UNI) The CBI today filed a petition before the Chief Judicial Magistrate court, Ernakulam, seeking permission to close the invesgitation into a bomb blast in a fishing boat anchored at Beypore port in September, 2005.

The CBI stated that even though the blast was a planned one, the investigation team could not trace the accused.

The case was entrusted to the CBI by Kerala High Court on March 17, 2006.
