Hooda greets people on Kabir Jayanti
Chandigarh, Jun 17 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today greeted the people on the eve of Kabir Jayanti.
He said Sant Kabir was a true humanist, a visionary saint-poet and a committed social reformer. ''His message of equality, human dignity and justice for the downtrodden has great relevance today for the people.'' Mr Hooda said that remembering Kabir was liberating and enlightening for all of us and his poetic voice was a strak reminder that all humans are born equal.
Mr Hooda urged the people to celebrate 'Kabir Jayanti' with great fervour as such events strengthen our unity in diversity.
