TCI'S income from operation jacks up by 18 per cent
Kolkata, May 23 (UNI) Transport Corporation of India Ltd, a leading integrated logistics and supply chain solutions provider, has got a fillip with its income from operation during 2007-08 growing by 18 per cent to Rs 1181 cr against Rs 1000 cr previous year.
In a statement here today, the company said the full year operating margin had increased by 8.44 per cent to Rs 80.80 crore from Rs 74.27 crore in the FY 2006-07, while the net sale/income from operation during 2007-08 registered growth of 18 per cent over the previous year on the stand alone basis.
The company had recommended final dividend at the rate of 15 per cent making the total dividend for the year at the rate of 30 per cent (Rs 0.60 per share) same as previous year.
