India has ''revolutionalised'' cricket with IPL: Pak Foreign Min
Islamabad, May 21 (UNI) Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi today complimented India for having ''revolutionalised'' cricket with IPL and said he would have to look for a new team after his favourite team (Knight Riders) got ''knocked out'' yesterday.
In a lighter vein, he said at a joint press conference along with External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee after their talks here that IPL matches were watched By many people in Pakistan and were very popular.
''You have revolutionalised cricket with IPL. The matches are watched by cricket lovers in Pakistan. It is a very welcome development..,'' he said.
Asked which team he batted for, the Foreign Minister said his favourite team had got knocked out yesterday and he would now have to look for a new team.
''I will have to look for a new team because my favourite team got knocked out last night,'' he said Asked which was his favourite team, Mr Qureshi said ''Knight Riders.'' UNI RB PK NS2134
