LS question hour disrupted for half an hour on Baalu issue
New Delhi, Apr 28 (UNI) As soon as the Lok Sabha assembled to take up the day's business, NDA members led by the BJP were on their feet, demanding scrapping of the question hour to discuss the issue of Shipping and Transport Minister T R Baalu's misuse of his position and the alleged involvement of the PMO.
Speaker Somnath Chatterjee disallowed the move and said the issue was first raised on Friday by NDA members and they were told to send a notice to the Speaker's office which had been received today.
The Speaker said he would go through the notice and then take a decision.
Around 30 minutes of the question hour were taken up by the issue.
