12 in fray for Betul bypoll

Betul, MP, Mar 29 (UNI) A total of twelve candidates were left in the fray for the Lok Sabha by-election from the Betul constituency after five candidates withdrew nominations today, official sources said.

Those in the fray include Mr Hemanth Khandelwal (BJP), Mr Sukhdeo Panse (Cong), Dr Sunilam (SP) and Mr Hira Singh Markam (Gondwana Ganatantra Party).

Elaborate arrangements are being made in view of the April 30 bypoll, which was necessitated by the demise of BJP MP Vijay Khandelwal.
