Mercury rises to 35.5 Deg C, duststorms likely tomorrow
New Delhi, Mar 28 (UNI) Continuing its upward movement since Sunday, the mercury in the Capital city today rose to 35.5 degree Celsius.
With the sun shining clear and bright, the maximum temperature in Delhi rose, from 35.2 Degree C yesterday, to 35.5 Deg C, two degrees above normal.
The minimum was also recorded three degrees abobe normal at 20.0 degree C.
The rising trend in mercury is likely to continue in the coming days with the weatherman forecasting a maximum temperature of 36 degree C tomorrow.
Some relief from the hot Summer conditions is, however, in the offing with weatherman forecasting some duststorms and thunderstorms towards tomorrow evening or night.
The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with possibility of duststorms or thunderstorms in some areas.
