10 persons killed in poll-related violence
Kohima, Mar 25 (UNI) Nagaland Home Minister Imkong L Imchen today informed the Assembly that altogether ten persons were killed during the recent poll-related violence.
The state went for Assembly polls on March 5.
Replying to a question of Congress MLA I Imkong in the ongoing Budget session, the Home Minister said of the ten killed, seven were from Kangtaung village in Tuli constituency of Mokokchung district.
He also informed the House that seven cases have been registered in different police stations and 14 persons have been arrested so far.
