Naxals hunger strike in Chhattisgarh
Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, Mar 12 (UNI) A hunger strike by 60 naxal inmates at Central Jail here continued for the third day today in protest against the transfer of 17 ultras to Bilaspur Central Jail and irregularities prevailing there.
Prison sources said that on the first day 16 prisoners were on strike while the others joined them since yesterday.
Five rebels, including 'Zonal Commander' Iqbal Singh, have been rushed to the district hospital.
