Sixteen held for disturbing peace
Lucknow, Jan 14 (UNI) Almost 16 Samajwadi Yuvajan Sabha activists, including a former students union leader, were today arrested for disturbing peace in the posh Hazratganj area of the Uttar Pradesh capital.
Ranting anti-BSP slogans, a mob led by SP leader and ex-Lucknow University (LU) students union leader Rajpal Kashyap sought donations from passersby for giving it to Chief Minister Mayawati on her birthday tomorrow.
They were arrested and later released on a bond, police said.
