2 killed, 30 hurt as vehicle falls into ditch
Kolar, Karnataka, Jan 8 (UNI) Two people were killed and 30 injured today when their maxi cab fell into a ditch near Sidlaghatta in neighbouring Chikballapur District.
Police said the overloaded vehicle was proceeding towards Shidlaghatta when the accident occurred due to the negligence of the driver who was negotiating a sharp turn at high speed.
The deceased were identified as Prasad (25) and Narasimhappa (25).
The injured had been admitted to the Sidlaghatta Government Hospital, police added.
