Shoot-at-sight orders in Sawai Madhopur of Raj
Jaipur, June 1: Shoot-at-sight orders have been issued in Sawai Madhopur for those found damaging public and private property and disrupting law and order in the district.
Sawai Madhopur Collector issued the order which has come into effect from today and will be effective till June 7.
According to government officials, the order prohibits assembling of five or more than five people at a place and to shoot those found trying to damage public and private property.
The district collector has issued directions to police force, paramilitary and army and district magistrate deployed in the area to ensure that the order is followed.
Shoot-at-sight orders are already in effect in Bayana in Bharatpur district. At least three people were killed in police firing yesterday, taking the toll in the violence to 22.
