Yashasvi Jaiswal marked a major milestone in his young international career by scoring his maiden ODI century during the third and deciding match against South Africa in Visakhapatnam. The 23-year-old opener reached his first ODI ton in 111 balls, anchoring India's chase with maturity and control.

This knock lifted Jaiswal's tally to nine international centuries across formats, a remarkable achievement at his age. His record now includes seven Test hundreds, one T20I century, and this first ODI ton. With this innings, Jaiswal entered an exclusive club, becoming only the sixth Indian to score centuries in all three international formats. Globally, he is now the 32nd player to register hundreds in Tests, ODIs and T20Is.
