ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup: Australia Beat India By 79 Runs
Australia Beat India: Walking on the steps of the senior team, Australia's junior side outclassed Team India in the ICC Cricket World Cup finals by 79 runs at South Africa's Benoni on Sunday. The U19 team's performance was a replica of the national side's three months ago performance as they performed better than Men in Blue in all three formats during the final games.
Batting first, the Kangaroos pinned a moderate total of 253/7 in 50 overs, which could have been chased easily, if Indian batters had stuck on the pitch.

It was a heartbreaking performance from the entire team as fans were expecting a title win and eyeing to avenge the defeat that the senior team had secured. But India's U19 team collapsed like a house of cards and was bundled for only 174 runs.
Team India could not even play their 50 overs and got all out in the 44 overs.
Australia's bowlers, spearheaded by the fiery Mahli Beardman with figures of 3/15 and the cunning off-spinner Raf MacMillan with 3/43, kept the opposition under constant pressure, leaving them with minimal room to maneuver.
For his dominating bowling performance, Mahil Beardman was named Player of the Match.
This victory marked Australia's fourth U19 title and their first since 2010. In a sense, it also served as redemption for past disappointments, particularly the losses to India in the title matches of 2012 and 2018.
