Lalu Prasad Yadav's provisional bail extended till August 17
Ranchi, June 30: Former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav's provisional bail has been extended till August 17 by Ranchi High Court on health grounds on Friday. The bail was extended to Lalu was initially till July 3.

On june 19, Lalu Prasad Yadav hjad been admitted to Mumbai's Asian Heart Institute due to chest pain and low haemoglobin. Lalu Prasad Yadav was admitted for the second time at Asian Heart Institute. Prasad (69), who had undergone a bypass surgery a few years ago, had sought an appointment with renowned heart surgeon Ramakant Panda at the institute.
Lalu was also granted a three-day parole earlier to attend his elder son Tej Pratap's wedding in Patna on May 12.
The former Bihar chief minister, convicted in fodder scam cases, has been granted a six-week bail by the Jharkhand High Court.
