Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra In Uttarakhand Celebrates Operation Sindoor And Armed Forces' Bravery

On Wednesday, a significant event named the "Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra" was held, starting from Shaurya Sthal, Chidbagh, and concluding at Gandhi Park. This march was in honor of the successful completion of "Operation Sindoor" by the Indian Armed Forces. The event saw wide participation from thousands of individuals, including ex-servicemen, the youth, and women, all of whom marched with the national flag. The Chief Minister took this opportunity to lay floral tributes to the soldiers who lost their lives, at the Shaurya Sthal.

The Chief Minister highlighted the bravery of the Indian Air Force, Navy, and security forces during Operation Sindoor, stating, "India has once again proved that it is fully capable of taking decisive action against terrorism." This operation was not just a display of the valor of Indian soldiers but also a firm message against terrorism and its proponents, showcasing India's readiness to combat terrorism in its language. The Chief Minister lauded Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, emphasizing India's capability to counter any terrorist threat with a fitting response, bolstered by advanced indigenous technology safeguarding the nation's borders.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister remarked on Uttarakhand's rich legacy of valor, noting that the state, known as the land of the brave, has deep ties to national service, with nearly every family connected to the armed forces. He encouraged the youth to emulate the armed and security forces' discipline, bravery, and patriotism. Additionally, he proposed that the "Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra" become an annual event to honor Operation Sindoor's historic triumph.

The event was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including Sainik Welfare Minister Shri Ganesh Joshi and Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Shri Mahendra Bhatt. Their participation underscored the collective respect and acknowledgment of the armed forces' sacrifices and bravery.
