During his address, Shri Harivansh Narayan Singh shared his personal journey and experiences in social advocacy journalism, stating, "When we started our journey in regional journalism, there were no resources and no visible future for our newspaper. Yet, through determination, creativity, and sheer persistence, we found ways to reach readers and make a meaningful impact. In today's rapidly evolving technological world, Alvin Toffler rightly said that in 21st century people who do not upgrade themselves with technology will be called illiterate. But it is not just about basic literacy, one must understand the technological transformations around them and internalize these changes, or risk being left behind. This book conveys an important message to the youth: embrace challenges, think innovatively, and shape your own future by adapting to the changing times."

Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Srivastava, Vice Chancellor, MRIIRS, stated, "Every individual's identity is shaped not only by their words or actions but also by the subtle impressions they leave. Even before they speak, their presence resonates and leaves a meaningful impact. Over the years, the inspiring personality and visionary leadership of Shri Harivansh Narayan Singh have consistently influenced generations, fostering social consciousness and shaping the field of advocacy journalism in India."
Shri Harivansh Narayan Singh also engaged with students during an interactive session, reflecting on the role of bold ideas and persistent efforts in bringing about societal change. He cited historical examples, including revolutions in France, to illustrate how new ideas reshaped societies and influenced people. The session was moderated by Naveen Chaudhary, renowned novelist and media consultant, who read a brief note from the author and facilitated the discussion, providing deeper insights into the development and impact of advocacy journalism in India.
The event, organized by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, School of Media Studies and Humanities, concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by its Dean, Prof. (Dr.) Shilpi Jha
