RJD youth president killed by unidentified assailants in Saharsa

Saharsa, Apr 18: Unidentified miscreants have killed district RJD youth president Shyam Sundar Tanti with a sharp weapon at Subedari tola under Sadar police station area of Bihar's Saharsa district late last night, the police today said.

Sadar Police Station SHO Sanjay Kumar said Tanti's body was found from a field near his house.

Tanti's wife has lodged an FIR with local police station against unnamed persons in this connection, he said adding, there were sharp cut marks on the RJD leader's body.

The body has been handed over to the family members after conducting post mortem, he said.

SDPO Subodh Mishra said the police were investigating the matter from all angles.
