Delhi Fire Tragedy: 11 Dead, 4 Injured In Alipur Paint Factory Fire
Delhi Fire - A massive fire broke out at the main market in the Alipur area of the national capital, resulting in the loss of lives of at least 11 people and injuries sustained by four others in the incident, on Thursday evening (February 15).
Shortly after the fire erupted, the spot was reached by fire tenders to douse the flames. 22 fire tenders reached the spot, and the fire was extinguished. A search operation is underway after a fire broke out at a Paint factory in Alipur yesterday, killing 11 people. As per the Director of Delhi Fire Services, Atul Garg, "2 more persons are likely trapped," reported ANI.

The charred bodies of the three persons were recovered from the premises of the factory located at Dayalpur Market in Alipur, as stated by a fire official. It was mentioned that a call was received at 5.25 pm, and fire tenders were pressed into service by an official from the Delhi Fire Service (DFS).
It was stated by Atul Garg, Director of Delhi Fire Services, that the fire spread to an adjacent house and a Nasha Mukti Kendra. Due to a blast, the building collapsed, trapping the 11 labourers who lost their lives. It was mentioned that the bodies are completely burnt, making it difficult to identify them, reported NDTV.

Sunil Thakur, a relative of an employee working in the paint factory that caught fire in Alipur, Narela, stated that he has come to search for his brother, Anil Thakur, but has been unable to find him. It was mentioned that the factory was a paint factory, and no information was available. It was further noted that Anil Thakur's phone has been switched off since 5 pm.
