UP: Video of Class 8th pass owner of Aryan hospital operating patient goes viral

Lucknow, July 4: A video which went viral recently shows a female compounder administering anesthesia to a patient in at Aryan Hospital in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh.

The matter came to light when an unknown person sent a video of the incident to Chief Medical Officer (CMO). The hospital has been served notice by the CMO.

The viral video shows there are people present in operation theater, who are not authorised to be there & a nurse can also be seen giving anesthesia to the patient.

Responding to the alleged case of medical negligence, Ashok Kumar Handa, ACMO Shamli, said that this is not the first time the hospital has figured in a controversy.

Handa said,''This is not the first time this hospital has been a figure of controversy. The hospital was sealed once before.''

According to News18, more than 24 patients have died in the hospital in the last one year. There have been several incidents of alleged medical negligence across the Country.

In 2014, alleging medical negligence over the death of a 28-year-old patient, a mob vandalized the premises of Aryan Hospital.
