Newborn baby strangulated to death in UP
Meerut, Feb 8: A newborn baby was allegedly strangulated to death with a plastic rope and the body was thrown on a mound of garbage in Nagla Shekhu area, police said on Monday.
The body, which was recovered by the villagers yesterday, was found in a black polythene bag with a plastic rope around its neck and its right foot was eaten by some animal, they said.
A case has been registered against unidentified person and the body has been sent for postmortem, police said.
