Trump Reacts to Indian Missile Strikes: 'It’s a Shame,' Calls for Swift Resolution
In the wake of the recent Indian missile strikes into Pakistani-controlled territory, US President Donald Trump expressed his concern and called the situation a "shame" during a press briefing with reporters.
When asked about the escalating conflict between India and Pakistan, Trump responded: "It's a shame. We just heard about it."

The US President, known for his candid remarks, acknowledged the long-standing tension between India and Pakistan, referring to the centuries-old conflict between the two nations.
Trump further commented on the situation, noting that the violence was not entirely unexpected: "People knew something was going to happen based on the past... both sides have been fighting for many, many decades and centuries."
His remarks reflect the deep historical and geopolitical rivalry between India and Pakistan, which has frequently resulted in military clashes and escalations. The latest missile strikes, part of India's Operation Sindoor, have targeted areas in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, leading to concerns of a broader conflict.
