Trump Aide Laura Loomer Launches 'Racist' Tirade Against Kamala Harris: 'White House Will Smell Like Curry'
Laura Loomer, a far-right activist with close ties to former President Donald Trump, has stirred controversy after making racist remarks about Vice President Kamala Harris.
Loomer took to social media to suggest that if Harris became president, the White House "will smell like curry" and implied her speeches would be facilitated by a call center.

This offensive post was a response to Harris celebrating her Indian heritage.
The comments were quickly condemned across the political spectrum. Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene called the remarks "appalling and extremely racist," adding that they did not reflect the values of the MAGA movement or the Republican Party, according to the New York Post.
In response, Loomer launched a personal attack on Greene via social media, illustrating the growing rifts within Trump's political faction. Loomer later defended her statements as "humor," but her comments have further polarised opinions within the GOP.
Loomer's remarks are part of a broader trend of using racist and xenophobic rhetoric within certain far-right circles. Trump himself, along with his running mate JD Vance, has been accused of perpetuating baseless claims about violent behavior by immigrants.
These assertions were defended by Trump aide Stephen Miller, despite official crime data showing a decrease in crime rates. Late-night hosts like Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert have mocked these narratives.
Fallon quipped, "My homework was eaten by a dog that was eaten by people in Ohio," poking fun at Trump's debate performance. Colbert added, "This pet-eating brain worm got into Trump's skull through JD Vance."
Despite her failed bids for Congress, Loomer remains a prominent and controversial figure in Republican politics. Known for her conspiracy theories, such as her claim that Haitian migrants were consuming pets in Ohio, Loomer has been banned from several social media platforms.
However, her X account was reinstated after Elon Musk's acquisition of the platform. Her involvement in the political landscape continues to draw criticism, particularly from those within Trump's own camp, where some feel overshadowed by her access to the former president.
