Is your Instagram not loading? Relax, this is being faced by several other users as thousands of users report Instagram, Facebook outage.

Several social media users- especially Instagram and Facebook are facing issues on Sunday afternoon as Meta social media platforms suffered widespread outage. Several users reported issues ranging from failed login to not loading posts.

Well, informing that the outage did not only impact the users in India but also the United States and Singapore too.

Based on the outage tracking platform, DownDetector- several reports if issues with Facebook and Instagram has been reported in New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kolkata and other cities.

Users Report Login Errors And Feed Problems

Several Facebook users who were trying to access the desktop version of the platform were greeted with an error message, "Account Temporarily Unavailable. Your account is currently unavailable due to a site issue. We expect this to be resolved shortly. Please try again in a few minutes."

Similarly Instagram users also faced similar issues, where the message read: "Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can."
Not just the login issue but the users also reported that no posts were loading.

Outage Reported In Several Indian Cities

The outage detector - Downdetector, users from New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kolkata and several others Indian cities reported problems with Facebook and Instagram.
Instagram witnessed over 2,800 reports from users in the US a short while ago. Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger, had not issued an official statement immediately after the outage.

As the platforms experienced technical issues, users quickly turned to X and Reddit to check whether others were facing the same problem.

Meta Platforms Have Faced Similar Outages Before

Informing that this isn't new. Meta's platforms have experienced technical disruptions. In June Facebook and Instagram faced a major outage.

As the service of Instagram and Facebook are back, some users continue facing login issues. The exact cause of Sunday's outage has not yet been confirmed. Users are advised to wait until Meta officially resolves the issue, as the company works to restore normal service across its platforms.
