Saudi Arabia: Fire at hospital kills 25 people, leaves 107 injured
Riyadh, Dec 24: At least 25 people were killed and 107 injured after fire broke out at a hospital in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, media reported.
The fire broke out the intensive care unit (ICU) and the maternity department of the Jazan General Hospital in Jazan, reported BBC.
The CDD announced that the "Jazan hospital accident is now over and investigation is underway to find out its reasons."
No more details were immediately available.
Those
injured
in
the
fire
are
reported
to
have
been
transferred
to
private
and
general
hospitals
in
the
area.
The
reason
of
fire
is
yet
to
be
known.
