Peshawar terror attack: Emirates halts flights to Pak city
Karachi, Dec 17: International carrier Emirates on Wednesday halted its flights in and out of Peshawar "until further notice".
The UAE-based airline said it was suspending the flights to Peshawar for operational reasons. Its services to other Pakistani cities like Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Sialkot would continue as per the schedule. [Pak Army chief seeks cooperation from Afghanistan to deal with terrorism]

While a booking a ticket to Peshawar on the Emirates website, one sees the following message: "Emirates has suspended its services to Peshawar until further notice for operational reasons. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers. Customers are advised to contact their travel agent or Emirates Call Centres for rebooking options, and visit the website for further updates."
In June, the Emirates had called off operation in Peshawar after militants fired at a Pakistan International Airlines flight while landing at Peshawar.
They resumed the services later.
