Pakistani Journalists Clash In London Café, Hurl Choicest Abuses At Each Other; Video Viral | WATCH

A disgraceful altercation unfolded at a café in London last week when two Pakistani journalists became embroiled in a heated exchange that involved severe verbal abuse, as shown in a video clip that quickly circulated on social media.

Safina Khan and Asad Malik hurled expletives at one another while bystanders attempted to calm the situation.

The incident occurred during a press conference held by Salman Akram Raja, an aide to Pakistan's imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Secretary General of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Safina Khan, who resides in London and is affiliated with Pakistan's NEO News, claimed that Asad Malik and other Pakistani journalists representing ARY News and Hum News had ganged up on her and issued threats to her life.

Trigger warning: Extreme use of abusive language. Viewer discretion advised.

"During coverage of Salman Akram Raja's press event, I was harassed and abused by Mohsin Naqvi, Asad Malik of TV London, Farid from ARY News, and Rafeeq of Hum News. They threatened to kill me," she wrote on social media.

Asad Malik, who works for a UK-based media outlet, dismissed Khan's allegations, describing them as "completely false and baseless."

"These accusations are part of a consistent pattern of behaviour. The facts are clear and corroborated by multiple eyewitnesses," he stated online, adding that Khan had launched into verbal abuse without any provocation.

Khan further claimed she had previously reported similar threats, but no action had been taken.

She tagged the London police on social media, warning that if anything were to happen to her, these individuals should be held accountable. In a series of posts on X, she also alleged that supporters of Imran Khan had been targeting her and even attempted an acid attack.

The viral video captured both sides hurling vile insults at one another's families, with derogatory terms such as "pig" being repeatedly used.

"If a man stands up and insults me or my mother, I will respond with twice the abuse, targeting the women in his household. The louder you shout and abuse, the harsher your punishment will be," Khan declared in her post.

She also shared a video originally posted by a social media handle called "Pakistani," claiming it was edited and disseminated by ARY reporter Farid Qureshi using one of his fake accounts.
