Mandela Funeral: Obama's clicks a 'selfie' when the world mourns

Barack Obama
Johannesburg, Dec 11: His electrifying speech and the sobriety on his face while delivering condolences at the funeral of world leader Nelson Mandela had a dedication in it, but US President Barack Obama failed to keep up to the expectations of many after that.

At a moment when the entire world was mourning the death of their 'Father', Obama was caught in a light moment, clicking a selfie, with the Danish and British premiers. In a photograph by AFP photographer Roberto Schmidt, Denmark's Helle Thorning-Schmidt was seen holding up her smartphone, clicking a selfie with Obama and David Cameron. Obama was seen lending a helping hand, while clicking the picture.

However, first lady Michelle Obama, sitting on the left-hand side of her husband was stoic, her eyes pinned on the podium where dignitaries were paying their tribute. The photo went viral in social media and comments started pouring in from different parts of the world.
