King of Jordan meets Modi in New York
New York, Sept 25: King Abdullah of Jordan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here today on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
Modi's meeting with the King of Jordan is seen as part of his effort to give a new push to India's 'Look West' policy in particular in the Middle-East region, where India has a deep strategic interest and where lakhs of Indian expatriates work.

"Courting great ties," wrote Vikas Swarup, spokesman of Ministry of External Affairs on twitter.
