Jat row: Lahore-Delhi Dosti bus service suspended amid protests
Lahore, Feb 22: In view of ongoing Jat quota agitation, the authorities in Pakistan have suspended the operation of Dosti Bus service between Lahor and Delhi.
The decision has been taken at the request of Indian authorities, reported the Dawn online.
"The service would be resumed after getting clearance from Indian officials who had expressed their inability to carry passengers to Delhi in the wake of caste-based protests in Haryana," Retired Col Khalid, the manager of Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation, Lahore was quoted as saying.
