Is Donald Trump Visiting Pakistan In September? Pak's Geo News Apologises Over Fake Report
A day after claiming the US President Donald Trump was likely to visit Pakistan in September, two leading Pakistani publications have retracted the fake reports.
Geo and ARY news channels had earlier reported that Donald Trump was expected in Pakistan in September but withdrew the reports later, Reuters noted.

Further, Geo News has issued an apology over the fake report with a message: "Geo News apologises to its viewers for airing the news without a verification," Also, a senior management official at ARY informed Reuters about retracting the report, citing the foreign office's clarification that it had no knowledge of a visit.
US Issues Clarification
Meanwhile, the White House has also issued a clarification on the reports with an official saying, "A trip to Pakistan has not been scheduled at this time,"
It is interesting to note that no US President has visited Pakistan in almost two decades. George W Bush was the last President to visit Islamabad way back in 2006 as the country has drawn global ire for sponsoring and promoting terrorism.
However, Trump will visit the United Kingdom in September.
Last month, Trump hosted Pakistan's Army Chief Asim Munir, mastermind behind the Pahalgam terrorist attack, in the White House.
Trump's Crypto Deal With Pak
However, the White House hosted Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir last month amid a cryptocurrency venture connected to US President Donald Trump's family signed a high-stakes deal with Pakistan's Crypto Council. The deal was formalised (April 26) just days after the Pahalgam attack in Kashmir in which 26 civilians were killed.
Zachary Witkoff, son of Trump's longtime business associate Steve Witkoff, alongside WLF executives Zachary Folkman and Chase Herro went to Islamabad to finalise the agreement. The report claims that they met Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir and had a closed-door meeting.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump is expected to attend the QUAD Summit in India which will be held later this year.
