Police Now Looking Into Vijay Sharma's Death

Well, amid the investigation it ewas found that Neeraj's husband - Vijay Sharma died last year. He worked as a Court Master at the Rajasthan High Court and died in April 2025 after suffering from health complications.

His death was initially believed to be due to illness. However, investigators are now examining whether there was any foul play after relatives raised serious allegations.
Police have confirmed that these new claims will now form part of the ongoing investigation.

Family Alleges Medical Negligence and Conspiracy

It was Neeraj's brother- Rakesh Sharma who came up with the new angle to this probe. According to him, Vijay was recovering from a serious illness when Ayushi and her cousin allegedly took him away from home, saying they would arrange better treatment.
Rakesh claimed the family was not informed about Vijay's whereabouts for nearly three months.

He added that when the family located him at a hospital in Jaipur, doctors informed that his health has turned critical. Vijay later returned home and died soon afterwards.
The complaint also alleges that Ayushi and Balram handled the funeral rites and, shortly after Vijay's death, Ayushi began seeking her father's government job while also demanding control over family property.

Threat Allegedly Made Before Neeraj's Death

One of the most serious allegations by the family was the threat that Ayushi allegedly made to her mother. Believing Rakesh Sharma, Ayushi told Neeraj amid an argument that she would kill her father by disconnecting her feeding tube, killing her mother would be even easier.

He also claimed that shortly afterwards, Neeraj posted a WhatsApp status suggesting that she believed she had only two days left to live.
Police have not independently confirmed these allegations and are investigating them as part of the case.

Property Dispute Under Scanner

Amid the investigation and the questioning in the murder case, police said Ayushi admitted that she had deep resentment towards her mother and believed that her differently abled brother received affection.

Investigators claim property disputes and family tensions were among the motives behind the alleged conspiracy.

It must also be noted that Ayushi - final year law student, appeared to have carefully planned the crime and psychologists might be brought to assist in questioning.
