Google Co-Founder Secretly Separates From Wife Over Her Alleged Affair With Elon Musk
Google's co-founder Sergey Brin and his wife Nicole Shanahan split after the latter was accused of having an affair with billionaire Elon Musk.

Earlier on May 26, the couple got the divorce confirmation, however, they would now separate legally with the custody of their four-year-old kid. According to the court papers, Shanahan did not contest the divorce, but asked the court to award her spousal support.
The couple started dating in 2015. Reportedly, Brin married to Nicole Shanahan in 2018 after his divorce from his first wife Anne Wojcicki.
But things started turning sour as Brin and Nicole split in 2021 and started living separately. Later Brin filed for divorce in 2022, citing ''irreconcilable difference''.
As per some media report, Brin filed for divorce about a month after his Nicole allegedly had a brief affair with Elon Musk, with whom he had been friends for years. However, both Musk and Shanahan denied their alleged affair.
Elon Musk once took to platform X, formerly Twitter, ''Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night. I've only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic.''
Meanwhile, Shanahan called the scandal annoying. She even claimed that she was never even more than friends with Musk.
''Did Elon and I have sex, like it was a moment of passion, and then it was over? No. Did we have a romantic relationship? No. We didn't have an affair,'' she claimed in July.
With a net worth of $118 billion, the 50-year-old Google co-founder is the ninth richest person in the world while 34-year-old Shanahan is a California-based attorney.
