Madhya Pradesh - Woman doctor commits suicide

Betul (MP), Apr 2: A woman doctor, who was suffering from depression, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her residence, police said today.

Sonali Mule (45), a gynaecologist, took this extreme step yesterday. A suicide note written in Marathi was recovered from the spot, Kotwali Police Station in-charge Pankaj Tyagi said.

"Nobody is responsible for my death. Because of depression, I am committing suicide," she wrote in the suicide note.

The deceased and her husband, Dr Ashok Mule, were running Ashirwad Nursing Home in Gouthana area of the city. After the completion of formalities, last rites were performed last evening.
