Efforts Underway to Remove Obstacles for Kashmiri Pandits' Return and Rehabilitation in Valley
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reaffirmed the Central government's dedication to facilitating the dignified return of Kashmiri Pandits to their homeland. He stated that efforts are ongoing to eliminate any barriers hindering this process. Addressing a Navreh event, he emphasised the government's commitment to creating a conducive environment for their return.

Sinha highlighted the importance of mutual efforts for the return and settlement of Kashmiri Pandits in the valley. "Regarding their return, living and settlement in Kashmir, I believe this should happen from both sides," he said. He urged the community to consider returning, noting that the government in Delhi supports their resettlement.
Efforts to Enhance Conditions
The lieutenant governor assured that steps are being taken to improve conditions and remove obstacles for the community's return. He interacted with attendees, extending warm greetings and wishing everyone a year filled with happiness and hope. Sinha also encouraged celebrating Navratri as Nari Shakti Utsav, promoting equal opportunities for daughters.
During his address, Sinha praised the Kashmiri Pandit community's significant contributions to Jammu and Kashmir's development. "Jammu and Kashmir is blessed with spiritual energy. The Kashmiri Pandit community has practiced on this land for thousands of years and has attained the highest levels of consciousness," he noted.
Recognising Cultural Heritage
Sinha urged remembering and honouring the distinguished figures from the Kashmiri Pandit community during this occasion. He assured employees under the PM Package that they would receive all benefits available to other government employees in Jammu and Kashmir.
The lieutenant governor acknowledged the efforts of the Kashmiri Pandit Sabha and other stakeholders in preserving Jammu and Kashmir's cultural and spiritual heritage. "The coordination and efforts exhibited by various Kashmiri Pandit organizations and the values instilled in the younger generation assure me that this vibrant culture will remain unharmed," he stated.
Unity in Diversity
Sinha emphasised that Navratri and Navreh celebrations symbolise unity in diversity, strengthening emotional bonds among people. "Let us pledge today to further strengthen this unity for the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir," he urged, highlighting the importance of collective efforts for a harmonious future.
