Weather forecast for Aug 8: Light showers to continue in Chennai

New Delhi, Aug 7: Here is the weather forecast for Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai for August 8.

Bengaluru:

As per Skymet weather, Monsoon would remain active over East Madhya Pradesh, remaining parts of Chhattisgarh, West Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, coastal Karnataka, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Maximum & minimum temperatures very likely to be around 26 and 21 degree Celsius respectively. However, the humidity will be around 81 percent.

Delhi:

Delhi rains have remained light in nature and the national capital has been witnessing some rains for the past two days or so. As per Skymet weather, short spells of rains to continue over the city of Delhi and adjoining areas of NCR including Noida, Gurugram, Ghaizabad and Faridabad for the next 24 hours. The maximum temperature will be recorded around 31 degree Celsius and humidity will be around 81 per cent.

Hyderabad:

The state of Telangana has not received heavy Monsoon rains so far. Since June 1 until yesterday, the state has witnessed rains 10 percent below the normal levels. As per Skymet weather, Cities of Hyderabad may receive scattered rains only as the weather system will not be in proximity of the capital city. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature would be recorded around 30 degree Celsius and humidity around 73 percent.

Mumbai:

The state of Maharashtra has been experiencing subdued Monsoon conditions. As per predicted by Skymet Weather, the city would witness light rains during the next 24 to 48 hours. The maximum temperature will be recorded around 29 degree Celsius and humidity around 80 percent.

Chennai:

Chennai rains usually remain on the backseat during the Southwest Monsoon unlike other metro cities of Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi. The city generally sees light rainfall activity with a few moderate rains on some occasions. The maximum temperature will be recorded around 35 degree Celsius and humidity around 58 percent.
