To remind Gadkari, activists float paper boats in Yamuna
Agra, April 18: River activists floated hundreds of paper boats in the Yamuna here in a bid to remind union minister Nitin Gadkari about his promise to start a ferry service between Delhi and Agra.
Some of the paper boats toppled in the water while a few made their way to the rear of the Taj Mahal. The event took place on Sunday, April 18 night at the Etmauddaula point, along the river.

"We are trying to draw the minister's attention to the sorry state of Yamuna which is already dead," said River Connect Campaign activist Devashish Bhattacharya.
"The minister had promised (in December 2014) to start a ferry service between Delhi and Agra. For all practical purposes, the promise has been forgotten," Bhattacharya said.
