SC refuses urgent hearing of Hindu Mahasabha plea challenging Kumaraswamy's Oath taking
Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to give an early hearing into the petition filed by Hindu Mahasabha challenging the oath taking ceremony and appointment of H D Kumarswamy as the Karnataka Chief Minister, stating it is unconstitutional.

The Hindu Mahasabha had filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the swearing-in-ceremony of H D Kumaraswamy. The petition says that the entire process is unconstitutional and hence the same be set aside. Kumaraswamy is set to take oath as Karnataka CM on Wednesday at 4.30 pm.

Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa had resigned without facing the trust vote on the floor of the House.
