Republic Day 2024 Highlights: President Murmu, Vice President Dhankar, PM Modi With France President Macron

Republic Day 2024: India is celebrating its 75th Republic Day on 26 January 2024, Friday. The Republic Day is one of India's most significant and prestigious national events celebrated annually to mark the adoption of the Constitution of India. India became a republic in 1950.

The grand celebrations will take place in the national capital headed by the President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, and the Prime Minister. This year, India has invited French President Emmanuel Macron to grace the Republic Day Parade 2024 as a special guest.

The main attraction of the Republic Day Parade is the ceremonial procession that moves down Rajpath, a prominent boulevard in New Delhi, from Rashtrapati Bhavan (the President's residence) to India Gate. The parade showcases India's rich cultural diversity, military strength, technological achievements, and social and economic progress.
