Ram Rahim’s list of jail visitors: Wants to meet Honeypreet but not wife

Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has been in jail for over a week now after being convicted for raping two of his disciples way back in 2002. However, in a fresh development that has reported shows Ram Rahim wants his adopted daughter Honeypreet Insaan as a regular visitor and is not keen to meet his wife Harjeet Kaur.

According to the list that was provided to the Sunaria jail officials shows that Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh wants to meet everyone in jail but not his wife.

    The list reported by Times of India shows the names of regular visitors. However, Ram Rahim's wife Harjeet Kaur name is nowhere mentioned.

    Ram Rahim has been married to Harjeet Kaur and have two daughters, Charanpreet and Amanpreet and a son Jasmeet.

    The list includes names of:

    Honeypreet Insaan

    Mother Nasib Kaur

    Son Jasmeet Insaan

    Daughter-in-law Husanpreet Insaan,

    Daughters Amarpreet and Charanpreet

    Sons-in-law Shan-e-Meet and Ruh-e-Meet,

    Dera management chairperson Vipasana

    An old loyalist Daan Singh

    Let us recall that it was earlier reported that Honeypreet is likely successors of the Dera Sacha Sauda chief.

    According to jail rules, prisoners can submit names to jail authorities stating who all will be authorised to meet him or her in jail. Besides those recommended, nobody else is usually allowed to meet the prisoner in jail.

    Qaidi No. 8647, Ram Rahim is lodged in Rohtak's Sunaria jail and has been alloted the work of a gardener under prison rules.
