Muslim youth poses as a Hindu, makes minor fall in love and forces her to convert to Islam

Posing as Sameer Kumar, the Muslim man gets into a relationship with a minor Hindu girl and then forces to convert to Islam.

A Muslim youth is accused of deceiving a Hindu girl using a false identity and then forcing her to convert to Islam to tie the knot.

The incident has come to light at the Kadma police station in Jamshedpur in Jharkhand after a 14-year-old girl filed a complaint against one Shabbir Ahmed. As per the complaint, he earned her friendship by posing as a Hindu youth named Sameer Kumar. The 20-year-old then trapped her in love and took some obscene pictures of her, a report said.

A month later, she realised that he was not Sameer Kumar but Shabbir Khan. He faked his name to get into a relationship with her. Once she came to know about his real identity, she decided to end the relationship with him. This is when he used obscene pictures to blackmail her, according to the complaint.

He put pressure on her to convert to Islam and tie the knot with him. As she refused to obey his words, he threatened to leak her private pictures on social media sites.

The 14-year-old girl brought the issue to her family and they sought the help of Hindu outfits to solve the issue. The members of right-wing groups like Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Durga Vahini, and a BJP leader protested in front of the Kadma police station on Thursday seeking the immediate arrest of Shabbir Khan.

BJP leader Abhay Singh and VHP's Ashok Kumar claimed that it is a case of Love Jihad.

On the other hand, S Ram from the Kadma Police station has claimed that the case has been filed and the investigation is on.

In a similar incident, a West Bengal girl, studying MBBS in Noida, a 30-year-old banker and his father was arrested for allegedly raping her.

According to the complaint, he earned her friendship through social media by posing as Hindu Aditya Sharma in 2021. They soon developed a physical relationship. Later, she realised that he was a married man and has two children.

His father is accused of asking the victim to convert to Islam in order to tie the knot.
