"Class XII CBSE students who have applied for re-evaluation but have not yet received their revised scores should enter their pre-evaluation marks in the CSAS portal," ANI quoted DU Dean of Admissions, Haneet Gandhi, as saying.

"They can update their marks once the revised results are declared. Students need not worry, as the CSAS portal will remain open for several weeks, giving them ample time to make the changes."

Professor Gandhi also reassured candidates that school-leaving marks play a minimal role in the selection process. "CBSE marks are not used much in the admission process. We only need to ensure that a student has passed Class XII. The marks are used only in the case of a tie-breaker," she clarified.

Re-evaluation Delays Affect 20,000 Students
The CBSE has already processed and declared revised results for approximately 87% of the Class 12 students who requested a re-evaluation.

According to a senior Education Ministry official, out of 1.68 lakh applications for marks verification and re-evaluation, outcomes have been finalised for roughly 1.47 lakh candidates. The remaining 20,000 results are expected to be published over the coming days.

The CSAS Admission Process Explained
Undergraduate admissions across 67 DU colleges-encompassing 73 undergraduate programmes and more than 100 BA programme combinations-will be determined entirely by CUET (UG) 2026 scores, alongside programme-specific eligibility criteria.

Candidates who sat the CUET (UG) 2026 can now register on the CSAS portal using their exam application number. The university is operating a strict three-phase system:

Phase I: Application to the University of Delhi

Phase II: Selecting and prioritising programme and college preferences

Phase III: Seat allocation and final admission

During Phase II, applicants will be required to map their CUET subjects against the subjects they cleared in Class 12 before submitting their college preferences. The timeline for this second stage will be announced in due course.

Application Fees and Key Instructions

Securing a spot on the CSAS registry requires a one-time, non-refundable application fee:
